ProfitPandit ("the Extension") is a browser extension that helps Amazon.in sellers estimate fees, profit and margin on product pages. This policy explains what data the Extension handles.
The Extension does not collect, transmit, sell or share any personal data. Specifically, we do not collect your name, email, browsing history, Amazon account details, passwords, payment information, or the products you view.
The Extension stores exactly one preference — your chosen display
language — using Chrome's local storage
(chrome.storage.local). This stays on your device, is never
transmitted anywhere, and is deleted when you uninstall the Extension.
All calculations happen locally in your browser. The Extension reads the publicly visible price and category on the Amazon.in product page you are viewing, solely to display a fee and profit estimate to you. This information is not sent to any server.
The Extension contains no third-party analytics, no advertising SDKs, and no trackers. It makes no network requests to our servers or anyone else's.
If a future version of the Extension adds features that require data handling (for example, optional account-based features), this policy will be updated first and the change will be clearly announced in the extension's changelog.
